Climbing courses

Tindegruppa arrange both basic climbing courses and some more advanced courses. Below you can find an overview of all our courses and a course plan for this semster. Most of our courses are only being held in norwegian and might not be suitable for exchange students with little knowlegde of the norwegian language.

Belay sertificate test – Brattkort test

In Norway everyone who want to lead climb or top rope in a commercial and public climbing gym need a bealying sertificate. If you are an exchange student and know how to belay and climb, you can take this test with Tindegruppa.

Basic course

The basic course is for you who wants to start with ropeclimbing and get a brattkort (belaying sertificate). The course gives basic belaying and climbing experience and gives the opportunity to take the brattkorttest.

Trad course

The trad course is for those who has climbed lead both inndoors and outdoors and want take the next step towards traditional climbing. During the course you learn how to place gear, how to set up anchors and you learn safety connected to multipitch climbing. If you want to take this course you should be able to communicate in Norwegian with relative ease.

Registration and purchase of the courses will be available on the respective course page from 12:00, two (2) weeks before the course is held.

On the dates we are having basic courses the climbing hall at Dragvoll is reserved for the course between 17:00 and 22:00.
