Trøndersk vinterkarusell
Vinterkarusellen er en serie med løp gjennom vinteren som arrangeres av Strindheim Friidrett. Vinterkarusellen vil i vinter bestå av 6 løp, med løp fra september 2020 til april 2021. Vinterkarusellen er åpen for alle, med klasser fra 10 år og eldre. Løpene vil bli gjennomført i henhold til de til enhver tid gjeldende smittevernbestemmelser. Lørdag 14. november blir det 5 km på Leangen. Påmelding er nødvendig. Se mer her!

Would you like to contribute arranging Trondheim's largest hill race? Now you've got the chance! We're setting up a committee for Fjellseterløpet 2021. There's need for people to do all sorts of different things. Together, we'll figure out how to create a professional and spectacular event. No experience in arranging races is needed. Last year on this date, our loved mascot, Hjalmar, was lost on NTNUI's christmas table at Clarion Hotel. This day we will honor our banana loving friend who contributed so much to the club. We are doing a memorial run this evening. See the Facebook event for more information.

You can choose between training indoors or outdoors today. Wednesday OUTDOORS at Trondheim Spektrum at 18.30: - Long: 6x (2x Spektrumsrunden) - Middle: 12x "bro til bro" (350 m). There will be two groups: one that starts every 3 minutes and one that starts every 3.5 minutes. It's not necessary to sign up for outside training. Just meet up outside Trondheim spektrum. Meet up outside Idrettsbygget Gløshaugen and we will split up into different groups. This Friday, we will run the hill in front of the main building. You can choose between short and long. Long group runs from the bottom to the top and short group runs from the bottom and halfway up. We are warming up with jogging and maybe some stair exercises before we run to the hill and start the intervals.

This is the most popular session of the week! We run for a bit less than an hour outdoors at a slow pace. This is a good session for beginners, but also a good easy-run for experienced runners.
