Do you want to start rowing?

Becoming a part of NTNUI Roing is very easy. No previous experience is required, and all levels of ambitions are welcome. We are a social group of people who are above average interested in rowing and staying in shape. As long as we have the capacity, our goal is to recruit everyone who is interested in participating.

If you wish to start rowing already at the beginning of the semester, we recommend that you attend one of the following events:

Idrettskavalkaden, active campus 30th August

We will be at stands 10-14, so please come by and we will answer all the questions that you might have.

Indoor rowing session 30th August, 17.45

Place: Hall 4 at Idrettsbygget Gløshaugen

Circuit training 1st September, 17.30-19.00

Place: Hall 4 at Idrettsbygget Gløshaugen

For the rest of the year:

We have two open session training’s during weekdays. We require that you join at least three open sessions before you become a member of NTNUI Rowing.

– Wednesdays at 06.30am. Indoor rowing interval exercise in hall 4 at Idrettsbygget Gløshaugen.

– Thursdays at 06.30pm. Indoor circuit training in hall 4 at Idrettsbygget Gløshaugen.

To become a fully member, you must do following:

  1. Pay membership to NTNUI
  2. Go to and make a members account.
  3. Find rowing, and press “join”.
  4. Then, send mail to and ask for access to Spond (for sessions and events) and Slack (all internal club communication).
