The best cheer weekend of the year is the NCL/NM weekend. Because our teams do not participate in the most difficult category, we are no longer allowed to participate in the National Championships (NM), but the final in the Norwegian Cheer League (NCL) is held during the National Championships weekend. This weekend we travel in a rather large group to the Oslofjord Convention Center near Stokke and stay there Friday-Sunday.
Accommodation
We spend the night at the Oslofjord Convention Center in hotel apartments. These are equipped with small kitchens so it is possible to cook some food there.
Food
The manager orders food and accommodation through the organizer for the whole weekend.

Cheergala
The cheergala is held on Saturday evening. This is a pleasant evening where you dress up in nice clothes and enjoy yourself with food and some entertainment. In the past, there have been several different themes for the cheer gala: party in colors, white party, reuse, dress in team colors. From experience, people show up both in jeans and in a 10th grade prom dress, so you can go with most anything.
Various prizes are also awarded during the evening for which nominations can be submitted to the organizer’s website.
