NTNUI Cheerleading wants to make it affordable to participate on a team, since most of our members are full-time students. Our main expenses is from one competition each semester, the fun part of the sport. Both teams travel together til Oslo for a fun weekend.

Expected expenses for fall 2023

Membership in NTNUI Cheerleading	500kr (300kr)*	500kr for both seasons (price for one season)*
Sit gym Membership	185kr per month (2220kr for one year)	You NEED a sit membership to train with us. The price appies to membership with a one-year commitment period and including NTNUI mwmbership. Note that you MUST have NTNUI membership, so if you buy your membership without NTNUI membership included, you must buy it separately (550kr). Sit have a deal for international students where you pay 1200kr for 6 months.
NO: Plane tickets	1000kr (under 26)	When traveling to a competition, athletes must pay for their own bus transport/airbus/local train etc. The athletes will be sponsored 50% of the travel costs for flights to/from the competition by NTNUI’s executive board, which will be reimbursed in arrears. To receive travel support, athletes must travel in approved clothing. We travel in black bottoms and a gray hooded jacket with a our logo. You must also have the travel confirmation to receive support.
NO: Lodging	0kr	Those who have friends/family in the area, stay there. The rest of us stays at eachothers house.
“Lisens” (insurance)	625kr	Obligatory insurance-fee for all athletes who compete in Norway. Lasts all season, and is recommended to buy immediately.
NO: Competition fee	100kr

Equipment you need

White cheer shoes

200 – 1000 kr.

Price depends on the model and whether they are new or used. Contact head of materials for advice.

White Nike tennis socks

Around 129 kr for three pairs. If you want to, a group of three can buy one pack together. The socks come in three lengths, we recommend the long pair.

Grey zip hoodie

85 kr for printing the logos. You have to buy the jacket yourself. Several athletes have bought cheap jackets in the boy section of clothing stores, or used from the Tise app or Finn.no. Requirements:

• Must be light gray
• Must have a full zipper
• Must have a hood
• Cannot have big logos or colors

After buying the jacket, you get the logos printed on at Intersport Lefstad in the city center. Ask for print for NTNUI Cheerleading. The jackets should be as shown on the image. Contact the head of materials if you are in doubt or need help.

Women:

Sports bra that doesn’t show under the uniform

Look at the picture. Preferably black. Many athletes just use a normal bra as the uniform is quite tight anyway.

Black undershorts to have under the skirt

Must be short enough so it doesn’t show beneath the skirt. E.g. the Nike Pro shorts or similar.

Men:

Black training shorts

The male uniform is just a t-shirt, and the boys therefore need to get a black training shorts themselves. This will be used as the uniform bottom. Contact head of materials if you have any questions.
