Venue

We will be renting a cabin just outside of Trondheim – “BUL Hytta”. The cabin has a main room with a capacity for around 50 people. This is where the classes and parties will take place.

Next to the main room there is a smaller room with a fireplace and sofa that can be used for relaxing during the day and evening and might turn into a sleeping room during the nights.

There is also a kitchen to prepare breakfast for the people sleeping at the cabin and the shared dinner on Saturday evening. The kitchen has a fridge where participants can store their food and two stoves/ovens for warming up food (but no microwaves).

Downstairs are the bedrooms with bunk beds (6 people per bedroom), bathrooms with showers and a sauna.

How to get there (from the city center)

From the city center, take public transport to Lian. Take a bus from Kongens gate to Ila, then tram from Ila to Lian. Then walk for 16-20 minutes and you are by the cabin! Total travel time from Prinsens gate ~45 min. The address is Lianvegen 116B.

How to get to the city center (from the airport)

The cheapest option is to buy a ticket from AtB (Zone A), and travel by bus or train between the airport and the city center. You can plan your route and buy tickets in the AtB app (make sure to filter out “Flight bus” results for the cheap ticket).

Værnesekspressen is an airport shuttle bus that goes more frequently, but is more expensive. Buying tickets in advance online is cheaper than buying directly on the bus.

How to get home (in the evenings)

The last trams from Lian to Ila are at 23:12, 23:42, 00:42, 01:42 and 02:42. The last normal busses from Ila to other stops in Trondheim go around midnight (corresponding with the tram leaving Lian at 23:42), but there are also night busses to specific areas corresponding to the later trams. Please check yourself on the website of AtB (local public transport).
