NTNUI Cheerleading was started in 2012 by Helene Drågen. The purpose of the group is to be able to do cheerleading, while being a full-time student with all that entails. In autumn 2012, we became an official selection in NTNUI and we participated in the Norwegian championship for the first time in 2014. In the spring of 2020, we finally got status as a group in NTNUI, and we expanded our group by starting a new beginner-team in autumn 2021. Today, the group consists of two competitive teams with a total of about 50 members.
