- You have to be member of NTNUI fbefore joining the swimming group.
Join NTNUI Svømming
As an NTNUI member, you must do the following:
• Pay the membership fee in the online store (the membership must be renewed every semester).
• Go to https://medlem.ntnui.no/groups/svomming/ and submit a request to join the swimming group. If you were a member last year, you must confirm that you want to renew your membership.
• Send a request on Spond (group code: HJAVO).
Once you have completed the first two steps, you will be registered as a member of the swimming group and will be insured while training with us.
Note: Members are added manually, so it may take a few days before you are approved. Check your status at medlem.ntnui.no. If you are not added after one week, please double-check that you have paid the membership fee, have a valid NTNUI membership, and have applied correctly before contacting the membership coordinator.
NSF License
If you wish to participate in swimming competitions, you must have a valid NSF license for 2026. This license can be purchased in our online store. The NSF license is valid for the calendar year, but to access our training sessions you must also pay the membership fee each semester and be registered as a member of the swimming group at https://medlem.ntnui.no/groups/svomming/.

You will be added to the subgroup “members 2025” once your membership on medlem.ntnui.no is confirmed – you will then have access to the practice events.
