Who are we?
NTNUI Bumerang is a volunteer-run lending service where students can borrow outdoor equipment — completely for free. Whether you’re heading out for a weekend hike, a ski trip, or just want to try camping for the first time, we’ve got you covered. From tents and backpacks to skis and snowboards, Bumerang helps make outdoor adventures accessible for everyone, no matter your budget or experience. All we ask is that you take good care of the gear and return it on time so others can enjoy it too.
Bumerang is all about sharing, sustainability, and the joy of being outside. We believe great adventures don’t have to cost much — or anything at all — when people help each other out. Our team of volunteers keeps the system running, repairs equipment, and makes sure everyone gets a fair chance to explore Norway’s incredible nature.
