Welcome to NTNUI Chess!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

NTNUI Chess is an open meeting place for all chess interested students in Trondheim. There are no membership requirements or demands for chess skills, everyone is welcome at our chess evenings!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday Chess<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every Wednesday from 18:15 to 20:15<\/strong>, we meet in room R10<\/strong> at Realfagsbygget, Gl\u00f8shaugen, for casual blitz and rapid chess. Approximately once a month, we introduce fun variations such as team chess, freestyle chess, or “hand & brain.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the Wednesday chess meeting we also hold a beginner crash course<\/strong>, where interested students can learn the beautiful game!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FIDE-rated Chess<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

NTNUI Chess is a member of the Norwegian Chess Federation (NSF). As an official club member, you can represent NTNUI in FIDE-rated tournaments, both nationally and internationally. NTNUI Chess has previously participated in exciting international chess trips, including student championships in Italy. Additionally, we actively participate with several teams in the annual Mid-Norway league (Midtnorgeserien).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
