Monday 19:00 - Easy jog
Meet-up: 19:00 Rema 1000 Elgeseter (Handelshøyskolen)
This is the most popular session of the week! We run for one hour
outdoors at a slow pace. This is a good session for beginners, but
also a good easy-run for experienced runners. We split up in three
groups, running 6km, 8km and 11km.
Wednesday 19:00 - Intervals
Meet-up: 19:00 Ranheimshallen
On Wednesdays we run different intervals at Øya Stadium. In the winter
we run at a indoor track in Ranheimshallen. We split up in three groups
and doing intervals for long distance, middle distance and sprints.
Examples of intervals can be 8-10 x 1000m or 30 x 1 min for long distance,
and shorter sprints/technique training for sprinters.
Friday 16:30 - Hill intervals
Meet-up: 16:30 Rema 1000 Elgeseter (Handelshøyskolen)
On Fridays we do hill-intervals! This session is very relevant for those
who plan to participate in the event Fjellseterløpet or other hill races.
Examples of hills we run at can be Blussvollbakken, Breidablikkveien or
the hill up against the main building at Gløshaugen.
We do often 2-3 x 5 repetitions.
