Welcome to NTNUI Cheerleading! We are a committed and social group with two teams, level 3 and level 5. We hold open practices in the autumn semester, which everyone can attend. After the open practices, we have a tryout for the two teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To join NTNUI Cheerleading, no prior knowledge is required, as long as you are a positive person with a desire to learn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several athletes start with us without any experience in Cheerleading, while others have experience in other sports such as gymnastics and dance. In Cheerleading, you often experience a steep learning curve by attending practice and working well with techniques. Attendance at practice is therefore very important and is expected of the athletes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New athletes are mainly admitted at the start of the autumn semester, but there may be vacancies in the spring as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every semester we train for a competition or an exhibition. We participate in the Norwegian Open (qualifying cup) in November and the Norwegian Cheer League which is held in March. The teams can consist of a maximum of 24 athletes. We also encourage our athletes to compete in other competitions such as GS or PS if they wish, without being part of a team. Furthermore, there are also other competitions that you can take part in. Information about this will be available later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also have social events outside of practice, which we think is important to being able to function as a team! During the year, events such as summer end celebration, a trip to Rush and Pirbadet are organized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
